4-27-06 - According to the grapevine, the UVJVS is building a slander case against me. First, let me say that saying something "sucks" is not slander. That is my opinion. I am entitled to have an opinion about something paid for by public tax dollars. If my judgement is correct, this is no more than a scare tactic. Whoever is pushing this lawsuit through must not think that I know my rights very well. Let me quote one of my favorite reads of all time, perhaps you've heard of it. The US motherfuckin' Constitution.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."People who say that this doesn't apply to me really grind my gears. Notice how it says that Congress cannot make any law abridging freedom of speech. Nowhere in that document does it say anything about how students cannot speak out against the way their school is being run. Why am I complaining about this school, you ask? I'm complaining about this school because all the administrators and teachers think I'm a neo-Nazi hellbent on some kind of 4/20 massacre (even though I'm Japanese and therefore NOT a Nazi.) I'm complaining about this school because of the interrogations I face from teachers regarding my upside-down cross necklace. I'm complaining about this school because the food sucks. I'm complaining about this school because things I write outside of school from my own computer somehow find their way into the hands of the administration and they don't like what they see. I'm complaining about this school for a shitload of reasons, because that's what people do when they don't like something that is forced upon them: They speak up! And I wager to say I'll have MORE complaining to do when they try to bust me for some sort of conspiracy to commit violence at school... Even though I have never been in a fight at school and I don't even own a gun. Oh well, graduation is just a few weeks away.
